Helping Deliver More Meals per Gallon
Everyone loves helping out for a great cause. But with Feeding South Dakota, we never expected it to be this much fun.
Feeding South Dakota was a finalist in a nationwide contest sponsored by Toyota. Here’s how it worked: Toyota gave away 100 Cars for Good – that’s 100 cars to 100 charities for 100 days. Each competing organization completed a video saying why they deserved to win, and Facebook viewers voted on who should get the wheels.

Lawrence & Schiller had the honor of helping Feeding South Dakota produce their video – a fast-paced, hand-drawn portrait of how the charity could deliver 60,000 additional meals to hungry people with the help of this vehicle. Not only was the video fun to make, but we were hoping it was just as fun to watch.
Results
The Feeding South Dakota video went up for vote on June 28 and won. We’re so glad we could help Feeding South Dakota deliver more MPGs – Meals per Gallon – in our state. Keep your eyes out for a new Highlander Hybrid cruising throughout South Dakota.
